Jonny “Bones” Jones

This is the next installment of my ongoing Illustration and short commentary.  I love the UFC and MMA in general.  My dad was a State Wrestling Champ and Black belt in Karate and is currently learning BJJ (Brazilian Ju Jitsu).  My Little (Bigger) Brother studied MMA for a while and fought once, then got married and that kind of came to an end.  Me on the other hand, I am either not serious enough, or too serious.  When I get hit in the face I get a little crazy and and want to just go after someone.  That is not the way to actually win a real fight.  So to me MMA is a great sport full of smart athletes, and also very entertaining .  So the epitome I think of the Smart, Skillful and REALLY, REALLY athletic fighter is Jonny “Bones” Jones.

He is young has a good head on his shoulders and goes out their and destroys people.  He also helps run down and subdue thieves, like he did before his last fight against Shogun Rua.  What I love about him is he seems really down to Earth, and yet is at the top of his game.  He reminds me of another great athlete in my favorite sport of Basketball, Kevin Durant.  Up until now, their have been very few athletes with Jon Jones skill set in MMA.  I think he is the beginning of the new generation of MMA athletes, the kids that would have been the top of the sports are going to see more and more come to MMA and I am excited to see where it goes.  Until then “Bones” is the man on top.
